We use too much styrofoam and it is harmful to the environment. There are better substitutes to styrofoam that should be considered.
Why is this important?
I want to see Illinois styrofoam free. We need to do something to help the environment before it’s too late. Change starts with us♻️🌳🌿🍃💚
How bad is Styrofoam? Really bad
Dioxins cause immune and hormonal problems and affect fetal development. When Styrofoam is burnt for energy or for disposal, it is released into the environment leading to air pollution. Affects the Ozone layer. Can cause health problems when inhaled by people and animals.💨🦋🙊🐸🐰🐶🐼🐴🐠🐬🐋🐅🦍🦚🌎🌏🌍
