Don't Frack St. Tammany Parish

The citizens of St. Tammany Parish have spoken, and spoken loudly. They don't want the Helis fracking facility in their community. The documented negative effects of fracking on the natural environment and public health are bad enough, but the fact that this facility would be located next to Lakeshore High School goes too far. We must protect all of our resources, including our most precious resource, our children.

Therefore, we the undersigned urge you to block the Helis fracking facility, to listen to the citizens of St. Tammany and to uphold St. Tammany's zoning laws, which prohibit this facility from being constructed and operated.

Thank You

Why is this important?

The citizens of St. Tammany parish want their community to remain frack free. St. Tammany zoning laws prohibit this fracking facility from being constructed and operated. Further, the fact that the Helis fracking facility would be located proximate to Lakeshore High School is unacceptable. We must protect our natural environment, our public health and our children. This facility must be stopped.
