As your constituent, I ask you to work toward immediate, worldwide introduction of 24-hour workweek as the solution to unemployment and declining wages.
Why is this important?
Most of the world suffers from unemployment and declining wages, which leads to many social ills such as poverty, crime, and terrorism. Given the current productivity levels and 5 billion working-age people on the planet, the only long-term, sustainable solution to unemployment and declining wages is a drastic reduction in working hours on a global scale. In the 1930s, we went from 60 to 40-hour workweek with a great success. Another reduction in working hours is long overdue.
