Burlington, VT. is a lovely city - but it isn't in Maine! We're voting for the FIRST Portland as the BEST site for a 350.org Traveling Road Show in support Our Environment - as we take on the Fossil Fuel Industry. Remember: "As Maine goes - so goes the Nation!"
Why is this important?
350.org is planning a Tour of the US to further up-the-ante as we take on the Fossil Fuel Industry. We feel that Maine should be a stop along the Tour. Given the host of social-economic-political AND environmental issues active in the state - including incredible accomplishments (and creativity) - Maine is "the way life should be..." - and an important stop for the 350.org Traveling Road Show to see!
