Acknowledge the Architect

The Brooklyn Public Library is nearing a death sentence for the Brooklyn Heights / Business Library Branch. The Brooklyn Public Library President / CEO, Linda E Johnson says the library should be torn down because it is poorly designed, has wide stairs, was built in 1962, most of it is underground and has no architectural significance. We beg to differ on all counts being reasons for demolition but really feel that the Architect of the building (Francis Keally) should be acknowledged on the Brooklyn Public Library Website. What say you to Linda E. Johnson?

Why is this important?

We believe that before a death sentence is carried out by the Brooklyn Public Library on the Brooklyn Heights / Business Branch that it be acknowledged on the Brooklyn Public Library website who built the building that is sentenced to death.
