The Coalition of Black Veteran Organizations are calling on the President of the United States to grant the legendary Buffalo Soldier in death what he earned in a lifetime of honorable military service to the nation, the honorary rank of Brigadier General in the United States Army.
Why is this important?
The purpose of this petition is to raise public awareness about the efforts of Black Veteran Organizations to redress an era in American History when separate was not equal for Black Americans serving in the defense of the nation.
