Edward Snowden deserves to be publicly honored for his bravery and integrity in bringing to light the grotesque overreaching by the security and intelligence apparatus supposedly "protecting" us.
Why is this important?
Our nation has in effect suffered a silent coup by federal security and law enforcement services, replacing Constitutional governance with a surveillance state. Only now, thanks to this courageous young man, are the American people becoming aware of this. Edward Snowden is a hero.
