We the citizens of the great state of Michigan, Bay County, believe that this Act endorses bigotry and discrimination. The state of Michigan, Bay County, should not be subject to this unfair Act!
Why is this important?
The Religious Freedom Restoration Act states that a provider's " religious reasons" could prevent a person in need from receiving medical help, housing, or a driver's license. This Act is discriminatory and unkind. We the people of Michigan in Bay County who have signed this petition do not support this Act.
