Boycott the Beverly Hills Hotel

We demand that the Beverly Hills Hotel and its ownership take a stand against homophobia. The hotel is owned by the Nation of Brunei, where it is illegal to be gay. Furthermore, Brunei has used its influential position within ASEAN, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, to impede the recognition of equal rights in the ASEAN member nations. We will not eat, sleep or meet at the Beverly Hills Hotel until Brunei ends its homophobic policies.

Why is this important?

The Beverly Hills Hotel is owned by the Nation of Brunei, where it is illegal to be gay. Brunei’s homophobia is completely inconsistent with the spirit of Los Angeles, one of the most gay-friendly cities in the world. People who support equality, and who are opposed to state-sponsored homophobia, should not do business with the Beverly Hills Hotel, or their owner, Brunei. Visit dumpbhh.org for more information.
