Cars we won't buy

Car makers gleefully joined President Trump to announce a planned rollback on fuel economy standards. But consumers WANT cars that get 55 miles per gallon.

The current fuel standards are expected to save $8,000 per vehicle in gas and to keep 6 billion tons of carbon dioxide pollution out of the air, pollution that hurts our children's health and increases floods, fire, and heat waves.

Rolling back fuel standards is bad business.

Why is this important?

Fuel standards may be the most important environmental regulation we have, and they make sense on many levels. They save us gas costs, they keep American car companies competitive and they protect our environment.

Tell the EPA and car makers, we won't buy yesterday's gas guzzlers. Move forward not back.
