Charge Dylann Roof Federally as a Terrorist.
His planning and use of murder as a political tool and the killing of an elected official make him a terrorist. He should be charged federally as a show of unity by all Americans against racial terrorism.
Why is this important?
Criminals should be charged according to their crime. Hate crimes are committed by bigots. Terrorism is a political crime committed against a democratically elected government by using murder as a political tool.
A federal trial will insure his rights are not violated by state authorities. There are thousands of mentally ill people in America that DON'T go out on 'killing sprees'.
