Compassion for Syrian Refugees
We, the undersigned, request that Governor Asa Hutchinson reverse his announced position denying entry into the state of Arkansas to Syrian refugees. His statement not only demonstrates ignorance of the laws of the United States, but also reveals a lack of compassion that is inconsistent with the welcoming nature of Arkansans.
Why is this important?
Arkansans deserve a governor who embodies their generous nature, not one who cynically abandons the "Christian" values he espouses for the sake of perceived political gain.
