We, the undersigned, urge the Maine Legislature's Appropriations & Financial Affairs Committee to fully restore state funding for Maine Public Broadcasting to keep our communities connected and informed.
Why is this important?
Governor LePage wants to cut all state support for MPBN - 20% of their overall budget. This relatively small amount of money enables Mainers in the farthest reaches of the state to get their news and entertainment through radio and TV.
