Diversify Near All White 46th Ward Zoning & Development Committee

Uptown has a long proud history of diversity and the majority of the 46th Ward residents would like to see it stay that way.

According to Alderman James Cappleman 60% of the residents in the 46th Ward are white.

Apparently among the 30 something members of the 46th Ward Zoning & Development Committee everyone except one person is white. What’s wrong with those mathematics?

We need to start from scratch and have a truly ward representative committee and one that is non-campaign fund influenced. The process should be transparent and new members should be vetted with oversight by an outside independent diversity group. It's that bad.

The 46th Ward Zoning & Development Committee is less diverse than the Ferguson Missouri Police Department!
