Residents of NY21:
Urge Representative Elise Stefanik to reject any effort by the federal government to diminish, dismantle, delay or defund programs, agencies or administrative departments that protect our environment;
Want Representative Elise Stefanik to author, sponsor and/or support legislation that defends clean water, clean air and clean land, while reducing pollution that causes climate change- because in so doing, the economy and the security of NY21 and the entire United States will be stronger; and,
Need Representative Elise Stefanik to seek guidance in making decisions about environment, conservation, agriculture, healthcare and all other matters related to science from experts conducting peer reviewed research- especially from institutions of higher education in NY21.
Why is this important?
Residents of NY21 are adventurers, explorers, innovators, environmentalists, humanitarians, and everyday scientists.
We, here signed, are stewards for sustainability and we know that climate change is a scientifically observed phenomenon that creates a global threat to people and economies if efforts to reduce its impact and stop its escalation are denied and ignored.
