There are way too many negative depictions of Black people in the media landscape. And it seems no one is doing anything about it. It's time for a change.
Why is this important?
I see too many images of Black people that are associated with racist stereotypes. It's especially true in reality TV, the news and music videos. There are limited representations of Black people on TV and most of what's on give Black Americans bad images which, as research proves, can affect the mindset of people who watch it. I am asking for an investigation into the corporate media's practices that promote these harmful images and hold them accountable! There is racism within the media and it has to stop!
