To: The Colorado State House and The Colorado State Senate
Support a Chicano License Plate in Colorado
We, as residents of Colorado, want Colorado to honor the rich and vibrant culture of our Chicano community by offering special Chicano License Plates.
Why is this important?
In order for the State of Colorado to consider the Chicano License Plate, we need 3,000 signatures. From the Rodolfo "Corky" Gonzales library to the "El Movimiento" museum exhibit, we can see the impact of our Chicano commUNITY -- now we just need the DMV to join.
Servicios de La Raza is a 501(c)3 non-profit supporting these plates and we already have sponsors from both Colorado State Senate and House. All we need now is help from our Colorado comUNIDAD!
Proceeds from sales on these plates will benefit Chicano-serving non-profits across Colorado like Servicios de La Raza.
IMPORTANT: You must meet requirements as being a Colorado Resident
