Petition Statement
Sandra Fluke has a legitimate concern. Nobody should be slandered and intimidated if there are issues concerning birth control pills. Rush Limbaugh abused his access to the media by publicly intimidating someone over the air. Rush Limbaugh needs to lose his privilege so he doesn't set another precedent of discrimination through the media. You have this power to silence Limbaugh and send a message out to other cities that intimidation on the air will never be tolerated.
Petition Background
Rush Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke a slut and a prostitute on the air when she was trying to get her prescription of birth control pills through her health plan at Georgetown University. When this issue reached the media Rush Limbaugh at WPHT AM 1210 reacted by slandering her name in order to intimidate and degrade women.
