Governor Jerry Brown -Lower the California 85% Mandatory Sentence to 65%

I am asking Governor Jerry Brown, not to send our young men out of state to serve their time in other prisons. I am asking Governor Jerry Brown to lower the California Prison mandatory minimum Sentence of 85% to 65%. To reduce the prison population and to reduce recidivism rates by keeping inmates closer to family and community structures that are most likely their support base once released.
