Governor Rick Perry: Judge Jean Boyd needs to be removed from the bench

Ethan Couch, who killed four people while driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, got a sentence of 10 years of probation from Judge Jean Boyd. The judge evidently agreed with the defense's argument that the teen hadn't been taught consequences by his wealthy parents. So rather than impose a sentence fitting the heinous crime, the judge literally let him get away with murder. This cannot stand. Judge Jean Boyd needs to be removed from the bench.

Why is this important?

This rich kid killed four people, recklessly and carelessly, heedless of the consequences of his actions. We cannot allow this to go unpunished.
