Grandmothers Against Gun violence (GAG)

We the undersigned – all registered and participating voters – have been motivated, by the constant and continuing incidence of gun carnage, to appeal for help. We want you, our elected representatives, to ACT -- to become statesmen rather than political puppets, and to lead others in the fight for sensible gun control laws. We are watching carefully and placing our support behind those who have the courage to step away from the financial tyranny of the gun lobby. Please, we are begging you, our elected leaders, to take a stand -- for our children and grandchildren, for our communities, and our future. Hear us!!!

We seek to influence our elected officials to create an America free from gun violence, where our children and grandchildren are safe at home, at school, and in our community.”

We advocate for uniform, vigorously enforced Federal laws to help diminish the sale and abuse of military assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition clips, as well as stricter screening, licensing and penalty policies throughout the United States.
