Healthcare for Millions of Kids at Risk

Don’t let funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) expire. Congress must act immediately to extend funding for CHIP before millions of children lose access to affordable healthcare coverage.

Why is this important?

"Sorry kids, no health care for you because Congress is busy not doing anything. Good luck!" Unless we pressure Congress to act, this will be the reality for families working hard to make ends meet.

Millions of children risk losing access to healthcare coverage next year if Congress fails to extend funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). CHIP covers millions and it's helped decrease the number of uninsured children by half since it passed with bipartisan support in 1997.

Families have enough to worry about. The health security of their kids shouldn't be one of them. Tell Congress to do the right thing and extend funding for CHIP immediately.
