Hillary Clinton, FBI Criminal Investigation Imperils General, Drop Out - Obama, Bernie Sanders On...

Hillary Clinton is imperiling the Democratic chances in a general election by conducting a bid for the Presidency while under criminal investigation by the FBI on TWO fronts. Hillary Clinton is currently being investigated by the FBI for her mishandling of classified information during her time as Secretary of State and for donations received through the Clinton Foundation by corporations and governments who were soliciting her State Department for weapons deals and policy benefits while she was Secretary of State.

Secretary Clinton has been blatantly dishonest with the American people, presenting her on-going FBI investigations as a 'security review'. The FBI head, James Comey told news organization that he was not familiar with that term, and the FBI conducts investigations not 'security reviews'. Secretary Clinton has not been forthright with Democratic voters about the facts of these investigations or her own actions which triggered the investigations.

Sec Clinton deliberately created a private unencrypted server she housed in a private bathroom, outside the awareness of the Federal Government to house ALL of her email correspondences as Secretary of State. She has attempted to outright deceive the American public about her responsibility in taking this action, presenting the FBI investigation conducted by Obama's own FBI head as a Republican smear tactic. She has utterly refused to responsibility for her own actions as Secretary of State. She has sought to confuse the American public about the facts of the investigation, stating that she never knowingly mishandled classified information and trying to obfuscate the facts of the story by telling the public that the material was not labeled classified. This is insulting to the intelligence of the American public, as it is the content, not the label that dictates whether information is classified, and she has hidden from the public that she personally generated and failed to mark a large quantity of emails, later marked retroactively classified. The fact that Hillary Clinton is seeking to cover the fact that she is under criminal investigation and not a security review as she moves forward into a general election, shows extraordinary bad judgement and the Secretary placing self interest above the needs of the Democratic party and Democratic constituents.

Hillary Clinton is clearly jeopardizing the chances of Democrats to take the White House in November by conducting a Presidential bid while under FBI investigation on two fronts. FBI sources recently announced that the investigation into the Clinton Foundation will not be completed prior to the Democratic nominating convention in July, and so there is no chance that this matter will be resolved before a general election contest. The Democrats can not afford to risk the nomination of a candidate for the Presidency who will move forward into a general under FBI investigation.

For the good of the party and the Democratic constituency, she must immediately remove herself from this race.

Additionally, many people are concerned that it is the plan of the Democratic Establishment and Obama administration to appoint an establishment insider (such as Joe Biden) should Hillary Clinton be forced to drop out due to indictment in a General Election contest. The signatories of this petition are signing to make clear to President Obama that should such a scenario arise, we FULLY expect that Bernie Sanders (should he not take the nomination in July) be IMMEDIATELY installed to act in Sec Clinton's stead. We will NOT tolerate a backdoor installation of an alternative to Sen Sanders, a choice that Democratic constituents overwhelming support and we will vigorously protest any action to usurp his rightful nomination.
