Historical Justice for the African Holocaust in the Congo Free State (1885-1908).

Declare the atrocities committed under Leopold II's rule of the Congo as one of major crimes against humanity in history and request Belgium to apologize for this African Holocaust. Establish a permanent museum exhibit at the Smithsonian or another location to commemorate the millions of Africans massacred during the Congo Free State regime.

Why is this important?

The Free State criminal rule was eventually condemned in its day by the international community. However, history was forgotten and currently Belgium is denying the truth, glorifying Leopold II with monuments and euro coins. Even though there were some books written recently and the British Parliament proposed a motion on it in 2006, this horrific murderous regime has not yet received its due historical justice.
