Hold Wells Fargo Executives Accountable

Dear Department of Justice,

Wells Fargo employees broke the law by opening over two million bogus bank and credit card accounts without its customers' consent. While 5,300 low-level employees were fired because of this, top executives are let off the hook.

Shareholders, consumers, and low-level employees are bearing the burden of bank misconduct, when in fact, we need to hold top executives accountable for this fraud.

Please investigate Wells Fargo to determine whether criminal misconduct was condoned or covered-up by senior officials.

Sincerely,

Why is this important?

Wells Fargo employees broke the law by opening more than two million accounts without customer permission. While 5,300 Wells Fargo low-level employees were fired, CEO John Stumpf, who just resigned, is still walking away with around $130 million dollars.

CEO John Stumpf resigned, but this does not go far enough to hold Wells Fargo accountable.

Tell the Department of Justice to investigate top executives to determine whether criminal misconduct was condoned or covered-up by senior officials.
