Dear Senator,
As a supporter of Healthy Communities Cook County (HC3), I urge you to vote yes on HB 5736 to extend All Kids, and send it to the Governor's desk for his signature!
Why is this important?
On May 4, the Illinois Human Services Committee passed HB 5736 with bi-partisan support. The bill extends the expiration date of Illinois' All Kids program from July 1, 2016 to October 1, 2019. Without this extension, 41,000 low-income children would be without health insurance in Illinois.
The Governor has committed to sign the bill should it reach his desk! We need to ensure that the Senate approves the bill. Thank you!
