Judge places Mother in jail for following out of state legal advisement to protect her children...

1. Would not leave your children with someone a Social Work Department and 2 judges advised you not to leave your kids with until there was further investigation as the child has made abuse allegations brought to the Social Worker's attention via 3rd party concerned for the child.
2. See it unfair that even after hearing the out of state Social Worker and lawyer testify in a court of law that they advised this mother not to put the child in the fathers care- the judge still ordered the mother to go to jail to "make a point" because that then meant she "disobeyed" his court order. Having this on her record will now prevent her from carrying her LMT license and therefore prevent her from providing for her children with her trained skill set.
3. Would like to send a message to Judge Phillip Robinson yourself that the best interest of a child comes before anything else.

Why is this important?

A mother of 2 small children was placed in jail for following the advisement of a Social Worker and 2 judges in WI to not bring her children for visitation with their father who resides in TN. The advisement given to her to not bring her kids to TN is because a third party reported to Children Protective Services in WI concerns that the children might have been abused by their father. After a forensic investigation where it was decided that the fathers visitation rights be suspended by the Social Worker in WI so the mom did not bring her children to TN (as any concerned mother would do). During the forensic investigation one of the boys stated that his father had touched him inappropriately and left him unattended on multiple occasions.

Additionally there was a temporary restraining order placed against the father by 2 judges in WI thereby legally preventing the mother from bringing the children to the father in TN. If this mother had disregarded the legal advisement from WI she would have been held accountable by the WI Courts.

This mother is still facing additional jail time and could potentially lose custody of her children.

Because this mother followed the legal advisement in WI- the TN judge Phillip Robinson has placed this mother in jail to “make a point” that she should not have disobeyed his order… But what kind of a mother would drop her children off with someone she was just advised not to leave her children with? The community needs to know what type of “points” this judge is trying to make to mothers trying to follow the law and protect their children.

This is public record.
