Liberating Louie - (A4218761) - A 5 yr. old Male GSD - Baldwin Park Shelter

One bite, totally uncharacteristic of Louie to former Owner's 19-yr daughter. Louie was with his family 5 years with NO bite history. Several trainers have visited him and have seen he is not a vicious dog. They were not allowed to remove Louie from his Kennel due to his Potentially Dangerous Dog disposition label.. Shelter Requires Approved Partner Rescue Only to pull this fur baby. Requesting one week extension of his exit date (from 2-24-14 thru 3-3-14) and Indemnity Waiver to be reduced from Lifetime to 3 years and pull to be permitted by a reputable 501 (c)3 L.A. County Rescue able to sign bite Indemnity Waiver.

Why is this important?

To increase awareness of one 5 year old German Shepherd that we believe to be mislabeled. We would like to have temp tested via an external pro dog trainer outside of his kennel in Meet & Greet Area.

We would like to bring Louie's Story to the attention of Lance Hunter, Animal Control Lead Manager, Baldwin Park, as well as to the kind individuals and Animal Control Officers Louie's care has been entrusted to:
