Lower the Concealed Carry Age in Mississippi
Allow citizens ages 18-20 to obtain a concealed carry license
Why is this important?
In the State of Mississippi I am legally allowed to carry a handgun in my vehicle at the age of 18. However, if I stop and exit my vehicle in a public place I am forced to leave my handgun in the truck. Because of this, I am unable to protect myself and others if the need arose. It is my personal belief that if the gun owners, ages 18-20 were allowed, with the proper training, to conceal carry their firearms we would make the state a much safer place.
