To: President Donald Trump, The United States House of Representatives, and The United States Senate

Mandatory Vote

In Amercia, we love to complain about our politicians, yet often less than half of us bother to vote. I believe if you refuse to vote, you give up your right to complain. You also give up your right to representation.

The USA should adopt the Australian policy of requiring every citizen to vote in all elections. It should eliminate all forms of disenfranchisement for any citizen regardless of their status.

Tie the vote to your license or ID such that if you fail to vote your driving privileges can be suspended for 30 days.

Sometimes people need an incentive to do what they should want to do in the first place.

Why is this important?

Too many people pay lip-service to voting and participation in our government. If you want to complain, you should vote first.
