Mayor Ritter: Stop the STOP sign on Shadowridge Drive

Stop the installation of STOP signs on Shadowridge drive/ Live Oaks Dr. in Vista, CA. Shadowridge drive is a major through street used by almost 10 000 cars a day. Installation of the all way STOP signs would significantly increase travel times, as well as increase fuel use and pollution.

Why is this important?

Stop signs are about to be installed within the next two weeks. Once the signs are up, it is going to be very difficult to get them removed. The Stop signs will significantly impede traffic flow It appears the main reason for the Stop sign is for golfers to easily cross from one side of the gold course to the other
