We urge Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to boycott the Benghazi Select committee altogether. It is a political stunt, a blatantly partisan effort, and a waste of taxpayer dollars.
Why is this important?
Four other bipartisan committees have already investigated the Benghazi attack. One of those lines of inquiry — the Government Oversight Committee’s investigation — remains ongoing.
Republican political opportunists have established the select committee only because of their interest in raising money and exciting the GOP base .
Appointing members to the committee would lend credibility to such a nonserious political "circus."
