No 'Fracking' in California

The practice of natural gas extraction by the operation commonly known as "Fracking" will not be allowed in California. The Clean Water Act will be enforced against violators. The fine for violation includes a $250,000 per day for each day of violation, and the operator of the fracking operation will have to clean up all environmental damage to what existed before fracking operations began. The owner of the violator company gets 1 year in jail.

Why is this important?

Enough people have been made sick everywhere fracking operations are in use. It contaminates our clean drinking water, which is also against the law. Prosecute polluters. Prove yourselves useful.
