All elected federal law makers/officials should volunteer to not be paid nor should they utilize any job-related benefits (including healthcare) until the federal shutdown has been resolved.
Why is this important?
It's time that Congress started behaving like adults and not children and represented the people of this country. Their actions are of no consequence to them as their pay and benefits are not affected. They are supposed to be a government of the people, by the people, for the people--but it's only we the people being hurt by this government shutdown.
