North Carolina for the Paris Climate Agreement

North Carolina is already heavily impacted by Climate change, with rising temperatures, lower air quality, and beach erosion and damage from strong storms and hurricanes. Our state should be at the forefront, continuing to lead the country in promoting clean energy, environmental protection practices and investing in new jobs. North Carolina should join California, Washington, and New York in the Climate Alliance and commit to the Paris Agreement.

Let's demand a sustainable future for us and our children.

Why is this important?

I have been a lifelong advocate of protecting the world we need to look to the future and cease this money grabbing short-sighted view that the present administrations seem to have regarding these agreements. North Carolina's east coast has a huge tourism market with premier beaches and these can all be negatively affected by rising sea water.
