Please Sign This Petition To Preserve Gun Rights In America. The trayvon martin shooting has created a massive problem for gun owners rights. Florida Governor Rick Scott has employed a task force to look into this excellent law. "Stand Your Ground" The law was passed overwhelmingly in 2005. It always law abiding citizens the ability to protect their life or families life without being prosecuted. It also prevents the bad guy to file a civil lawsuit against the good guy. This law is in grave jeopardy due to the unfortunate shooting of Travon Martin. One incident should not effect the rights of millions of Floridians plus millions of other Americans in a few dozen other States. Please sign this petition if you want to preserve gun laws in the USA.. The Castle Doctrine started in Florida in 2005 & spread to 26 other States. If Florida changes the Castle Doctrine, other States will follow.
