Section 1. No person shall be qualified for the office of the President of the United States of America if they have not released their federal and state tax returns for the prior ten years. To be eligible for the Presidency a candidate must have released their federal and state tax returns before May 31 of the presidential election year.
Section 2. No person shall be qualified for the office of the President of the United States of America if they have not served in the military for at least four years or served at least two years as an elected official in any federal, state or local office.
Section 3. Congress shall have power to enforce these articles by appropriate legislation.
