By Kim Morris (Contact)

To be delivered to: The United States Senate and President Barack Obama

Petition Statement
Tell your Senators to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act S. 1925. Help keep our citizens safe.

Petition Background

There is a move to eliminate the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) because it is adding protections for Native Americans, LGBTQ individuals and immigrants caught up in a web of violence. The scope of this issue is to continue protection under the law for the roughly 1 in 4 women and 1 in 71 men who have experienced violence and rape at the hands of an intimate partner.
