Rep Lee Zeldin needs to hold an open and accessible town hall

Newly elected Rep. Zeldin of New York recently cancelled a public town hall scheduled for April 2017 without explanation or intentions to reschedule it stating "liberal obstructionists" were the reason it was cancelled. False claims of harassment and violence at peaceful, respectful rallies are also being cited by his staff as reasons he now refuses to have a town hall.

Rep Zeldin needs to hold an open and accessible town hall to hear the many voices and concerns of his constituents on various issues facing Long Island, NY and the country.

Why is this important?

Despite numerous attempts by many of his constituents to reach out to him and request for the town hall to be rescheduled we have received no promise that he will hold one and in fact we have only received replies of fabricated events of harassment and violence as reasons he will not have a town hall.
