Why is this important?
Last year the Supreme Court weakened critical provisions of the voting rights act. People who do not believe everybody should have the same right to vote, immediately created and often passed laws putting obstacles in the way of voters and potential voters. We all should support the Voting Rights Amendment Act of 2014 to put right this injustice, and our Congressman, Mike Quigley, should be leading the way for us.
