Petition Statement
We the people of the United States request that both houses of Congress, pursuant to Article 5 of the Constitution of the United States, repeal the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.
Petition Background
Over 30,000 people died last year in the United States from handguns alone. Now we have lost twenty more school children. Little kids. As long as the Second Amendment stands in the way, we will continue down the path toward violence and eventually, anarchy. This petition does not impose gun controls or advocate taking away anyone's guns. It does take away the present unabridged right to own and use guns. If it passes, we would start public policy on gun ownership and use from scratch..
