Request for Face to Face Constituent Townhall
Congressman Stivers currently holds "tele-townhalls" on a rotating basis among the 12 counties he represents. The constituents are called without advance notice, and there might be as many as 5,000 participants on the call. Communications tend to be one way, and there is no real opportunity for discussion or dialogue. That's why we are requesting a face-to-face constituent townhall.
Why is this important?
In this time of political uncertainty and unease, having open, honest, real live discussions among constituents and our congressman is crucial to building trust and confidence that Rep. Stivers understands our interests and is therefore in the best possible position to put those interests forward.
