Petition Statement
We are formally requesting that the Internal Revenue Service revoke the status of Dove World Outreach Center, led by pastor Terry Jones, as an organization exempt from taxation pursuant to 26 U.SC. § 501(c)(3); [r]estrictions from participating in any political campaign on behalf of, or against, any candidate for political office.
Religious organizations must be treated equally under the laws and must be subject to the same standards and revocation measures as any nonprofit entity.

Petition Background
Dove World Outreach Center in Gainsville, Florida, led by pastor Terry Jones, has lynched in effigy, President Obama. The hanged black President currently dangles in the air directly in front of, and on Church property.
The pastor's statement:
"That is why we have now chosen the hanging of Hussein Obama to represent how the American people must, in a peaceful way, stand up and reject President Obama, reject his anti-American policies. It is time for us to stand up. It is time, again, for America to become America." ~ pastor Terry Jones
Pastor Terry Jones, recently threatened to burn Korans, triggering further violence in the Middle East; resulting in the deaths of nearly one hundred throughout the region. Our military a civilian personnel's safety was compromised by the anti-American sentiment that followed.
While the pastor has a First Amendment right to protest, his non-profit-status Church does not; pursuant to 26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(3), and in addition, the organization is required to make certain representations, including a representation that it will not participate in any political campaign on behalf of, or against, any candidate for political office.
