Petition Background

On December 17th my precious dog Penni was killed in a bodygrip trap baited with beaver meat on public land in Crow Wing County. She meant the world to me. And now my world is shattered. Nine days later another dog named Sue was killed in a bodygrip trap set in a wildlife management area near Staples. At least 5 local dogs have been killed in these traps in recent years. It is legal to kill our dogs with these traps.
