Petition Statement
This goal of this petition is keep the US Postal Service delivering mail 6 days a week and to return the pre funding of the retirement accounts to the postal service.
Petition Background
We believe America needs 6 delivery days of mail. And the US Postal Service should not have to pre fund its retiree healthcare accounts as described in HR 6407. This bill should be repealed, revoked or amended to not make the postal service pre fund $5.5 billion dollars a year over a 10 year window. This is a burden no other employer public or private has to endure.
