Stop speeders in residential neighborhoods

Victory! The creator of this petition declared the campaign a success. You can still sign the petition to show support.

Vehicles exceed the posted speed limit of 25 mph in residential neighborhoods, typically traveling at 40 to 45 mph, and sometimes higher. What is the purpose of posting speed limits if they are not regularly enforced?

Children and pets reside in Berlin's residential communities. Will it take the death of a child for you to take action on speeders, who are threatening the lives of children, pedestrians, bicyclists, and family pets?

Please do something about speeding in residential areas.

Why is this important?

Every year twice the number of children in Connecticut are killed by motor vehicles than from guns. Isn't it time for us to take action against drivers speeding in Berlin, Connecticut?
