Tell groups such as the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti Defamation League to stop singling out Asatru and Heathen Symbols as being "Symbols of Hate and Extremism". And let Facebook know that banning pages simply because they have these symbols is discriminatory and judgemental
Why is this important?
FaceBook has taken to Banning pages that display the Othala Rune and other Heathen or Asatru Symbols as deemed it to be racially indicative and considered a symbol of hate. Groups Such as the Anti Defamation League and The Southern Poverty Law Center have helped to Propagate this myth by publishing documents about "Symbols of Hate and Extremism" labeling anything Asatru as being associated to White Supremacy or Neo-Nazi in Origin. These same groups however refuse to also add the Christian Cross which just as widely used or in case such as the KKK and Christian Dominionist groups more widely used to spread hate and bigotry. Enough is Enough our faith has to endure the fact that hate groups do Bastardize our symbols to promote their agenda we should not also have to worry about being harassed by Law enforcement because we have been labeled as all being racist bigot by your organizations. This country was founded on a principle of freedom of religion and our faith has as much right to our freedom from persecution as any other does under the letter of the law and the Constitution of these United States of America and it is high time you recognize it as well.
