Stop Transportation of Hazardous Substances Through Residential Areas

Currently, hazardous materials are transported via railroad within yards of residential areas. EJ&E Railroad is now part of Canadian National, a railway that stretches from Canada and runs throughout the heart of America. Bill Gates, the primary shareholder, purchased this once publicly-owned entity and is using it to transport petroleum products and ethanol, as well as other hazardous substances, through both American and Canadian communities, putting millions of men, women, and children at risk.

Why is this important?

Millions of men, women, and children throughout both America and Canada are at risk due to the transport of hazardous substances known to explode; produce fireballs, and unleash toxic fumes causing shock and convulsions, and that is fatal within two breaths. Railroads such as Canadian National and EJ&E Railroad are currently hauling these substances within yards of residential communities. Legislation must be passed to immediately stop this practice and enforce the public safety of citizens living in residential areas who are currently at risk.
