Support CSU's Stadium Initiative

I would support the addition of a privately funded on-campus stadium at Colorado State University and urge all stakeholders to remain open to that possibility while the committee researches the issue.

I know that I am joined by thousands of other CSU Ram fans, students, alumni, and local community members that believe that building an on-campus stadium is in the best interest of CSU and Fort Collins.

A stronger commitment to CSU athletics will mobilize increased public support, create a stronger brand identity in a crowded marketplace, and emphasize the popularity of our research programs, which unfortunately are sometimes invisible to many important constituencies critical for their political and financial support.

Why is this important?

Tony Frank and the entire CSU administration has committed to a vision of excellence in everything the university does. Part of that vision includes the possibility of building a new on-campus stadium. As such, CSU has formed a committee to investigate the feasibility of such a project. We're voicing our support for that process and the potential for such a stadium to be built.
