We declare our support for the United States Navy's Pacific Fleet, but our firm opposition to the Hawaii-Southern California Training and Testing and any other sonar exercises that would kill and harass whales. We consider whales, dolphins, porpoises and other marine life to be among the most important things our Navy must endeavor to protect.

Why is this important?

The U.S. Navy has a plan called 'Hawaii-Southern California Training and Testing', at-sea war games which would employ mid-range SONAR saturation from Southern California to Hawaii. According to their own E.I.S. (Environmental Impact Statement), these war games will result in the killing and/or deafening of many whales, and cause hemorrhaging in the lungs of porpoises, among many other impacts on marine life.
